South Beach Harbor is located just south of the San Francisco Ferry Building, between Pier 40 and Oracle Park on the Embarcadero. Home to over 700 berths, spectacular views, and convenient access to public transportation, South Beach Harbor has a multitude of dining options in the area, scenic views, picnic benches, bike racks, event arenas and other entertainment attractions.
South Beach Harbor was built in 1986 by the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency on property leased from the Port and with funding provided by the State Department of Boating and Waterways. In 2015, South Beach Harbor was transferred to the Port of San Francisco. South Beach Harbor is a full-service marina, focusing on recreational boats and limited small commercial charter landings.
For vessels planning to spend time at McCovey Cove (China Basin), review the Safety Regulations/Guidelines for McCovey Cove.
