Business with the Port

The Port of San Francisco is a public agency responsible for managing the seven and one-half miles of San Francisco Bay shoreline stretching from Hyde Street Pier in the north to India Basin in the south. The Port's responsibilities include promoting maritime commerce, navigation, and fisheries and providing public recreation. More than 1,000 acres fall under its jurisdiction.

The Port's Waterfront Land Use Plan identifies opportunities for new investments, often in the form of mixed-use developments, that provide capital for reinvestment in maritime facilities and piers, public access and park improvements. The Port of San Francisco is committed to supporting the growth of waterfront jobs and tax revenues for the City and providing space for new and expanding businesses on port property.
