Committee Meeting Outcomes

October 1, 2007

The San Francisco Port Commission has established a Committee headed by Commissioners Lazarus and Brandon to convene a series of public meetings to address the planning and development of Seawall Lot 337 (SWL 337), located south of China Basin Channel, bounded by Third Street on the west, Terry Francois Blvd on the east and Mission Rock Street to the south.

On October 1, 2007 this committee supported by Port staff led a discussion on draft statements describing the development objectives and criteria for SWL 337. Prior to the October meeting, these statements were released for public comment, and the subject of public meeting discussions in June and July of 2007. On the basis of the public comments received at these meetings and through other means, staff revised the development objectives and criteria for discussion and finalization at the October 1 meeting. Below please find the draft development objectives and criteria and the public input received at the October 1 meeting.
