RFP Construction Materials Recycling Center

Notice of Availability of Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Construction Materials Recycling Center at Seawall Lot 352

The San Francisco Port Commission is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking proposals from qualified operators for the development and operation of a construction materials recycling center to crush and screen inert construction materials such as concrete for sale and reuse as structural and non-structural fill products.

The subject property consists of a 217,800 square foot site that is located in the Southern Waterfront, in an area that has experienced considerable economic investment and development in the last decade. The Port seeks a high quality concrete recycling facility to serve the construction community, operated utilizing best management practices to achieve state of the art environmental compliance.

A pre-submittal conference is scheduled on November 15, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time at the Port's offices in Pier 1, San Francisco, California.

Submittals must be delivered by hand to the Port of San Francisco, Pier 1, San Francisco CA 94111, no later than 5:00 P.M. PST on December 3, 2007.
