Notice of Availability of Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Maritime Terminal Operation at Pier 96

The San Francisco Port Commission is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking proposals from qualified operators for the development and operation of a marine cargo terminal operation on approximately eighteen acres located at the Port's Pier 96 Maritime Terminal.

The subject property is comprised of approximately 18 acres of paved land located in the Southern Waterfront on Pier 96, within the Port's 278 acre Piers 80-96 Maritime Industrial Complex. The Port seeks a qualified operator that has the demonstrated ability to operate a marine cargo terminal operation on the site utilizing best management practices to achieve state of the art environmental compliance.

Important Dates:

A pre-submittal conference and site tour is scheduled for Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time at the Port's offices in Pier 1, San Francisco, California, Bayside Conference Rooms 1-2.

Submittals must be delivered by hand to the Port of San Francisco, Pier 1, San Francisco CA 94111, no later than 12:00 noon PST on April 25, 2008.
