The Port of San Francisco is seeking a highly qualified contractor to investigate and resecure two (2) floating dry dock cranes at Pier 68 in San Francisco, which have been damaged by recent strong winds. One crane (Crane #33) at the western wing wall of Dry Dock #2 is freely rotating. Following investigation, an allowance proposal item shall be provided to secure the crane. Additionally, proposal items shall be provided to do similar work for another crane (Crane #35) at the eastern wing wall of Dry Dock #2 to inspect and evaluate to ensure that it will not suffer the same condition as Crane #33. Another allowance proposal item shall be provided to secure Crane #35.
