Rafiki Coalition's 12th Annual Black Health and Healing Summit
Rafiki Coalition’s 12th Annual Black Health and Healing Summit will be a two-day community event that seeks to educate the community about health disparities in the Black community, and how individuals and the community can access and support deep healing. Friday and Saturday will have both indoor and outdoor activities. Friday morning will include an opening ritual, including a drumming circle. Throughout the remainder of Friday and Saturday there will be keynote speakers, panels, breakout workshops focused on health and wellness. Movement sessions will engage attendees in exercise; and healthy meals and snacks will be provided. Complementary alternative medicine (massage, chiropractic care, and acupuncture) will be offered. Outdoor activities and events will include resources for the community, including books and story time for children, produce/farming information and resources, and vendors selling natural health and beauty products.
