On November 1, 2021, the Port welcomed all telecommuting employees back to the office. The Port commends the essential workers and Disaster Service Workers who have been working safely throughout the pandemic.
The City and County of San Francisco Department of Human Resources (DHR) has implemented a policy that requires all employees to be vaccinated from COVID-19 and report their current vaccination status. Vaccination best protects employees and the public. Vaccination is the most effective way to prevent transmission and limit COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths.
Information and responses are continually evolving. The Port is committed to sharing new information as it becomes available. Employee and public safety are a priority, and the following measures are currently in place:

At this time, City employees are required to wear a mask when indoors and in vehicles.

Employees are required to do the daily health screening online at sf.gov/check-your-health-city-staff prior to entering a city worksite. Health screening posters with the QR code are located at entrances to all Port facilities.
