    1.    Welcome
    •    Self-introductions by all present.

    2.    Maritime Update (Andre Coleman)
    •    The Port hosted a waterside tour for the California State of Transportation, Secretary Omishakin.  Included in the tour were President Adams and representatives from Cal Trans.  We focused on our cargo facilities as we preparing to apply for state grant funding.
    •    We also hosted a waterside tour for the Federal Maritime Commission, Chair Maffei.  We familiarized Chairman Maffei with our diverse maritime portfolio and cargo facilities.
    •    Seeing our facilities from the waterside offers a different perspective and has been beneficial to the Port.
    •    The Port was awarded 9.5 million dollars from the Maritime Administration.  The grant money will go towards Amador Street improvement project.
    •    It has been a strong year for cruise with 113 calls for the calendar year.
    •    For 2023, we have 131 cruise calls scheduled so far.
    •    After 10 years, Pier 30/32 was re-activated to host additional cruise calls.
    •    In 2023, American Cruise Lines is scheduled for 4 rivers cruises departing from Pier 45.
    •    The Jeremiah O’Brien will be relocated from Pier 45 to Pier 35.
    •    Cargo remains fairly strong in both auto and dry bulk operations.
    •    We are pursuing a new client at Pier 80 facility for import auto operations.  The electric vehicles manufacturer is Vinfast based out of Vietnam.
    •    In October, the commission approved and awarded a two-year dredging contract to the Dutra Group.
    •    We hope to start dredging South Beach Harbor this December as it has not been dredged for over 20 years.
    •    Dredging is prioritized for our active cargo and cruise facilities.
    •    In the last commission meeting, the Retail Fish Program has been extended to include the fish processors to participate.

    3.    Waterfront Plan Status Report (Diane Oshima)
    •    The Waterfront Land Use Plan derived from a ballot measure that passed in 1990.  It set certain stipulations and requirements for maritime and water dependent uses to receive priority on port property.  The Plan was amended in 1997 as other land uses that could take place on port property was identified. Over five years ago, it was recognized there was a need for a refresh of the policy, so the Port Commission created the Waterfront Plan Working Group.
    •    For more information on the Waterfront Plan and its’ status, please view the presentation under supporting documents.

    4.    Waterfront Resilience Program: Draft Waterfront Adaption Strategies (Brad)
    •    The Port of San Francisco, in partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and San Francisco city agencies, has developed Draft Waterfront Adaptation Strategies based on over five years of public engagement.
    •    For more information on the Draft Waterfront Adaptation Strategies, please view the presentation under supporting documents.
