The proposed 2012 GO Bond would allow the Port to construct, repair, demolish, replace, remediate, and seismically upgrade structures and areas along the waterfront on property under the jurisdiction of the Port Commission. The purpose would be to create waterfront parks and open space, and improve water quality in various neighborhoods with the goal of providing safe and high quality parks, open space, recreation facilities, nature restoration, and improved management of stormwater runoff to the Bay. Specific projects would be developed in various locations along the City’s waterfront.
